Is a song a Christian song because of who wrote it? Who inspired it? What it says?

I've been wondering if it even matters what the intention of the song was, if its lyrics are worshipful, doesn't that alone qualify it? How about this one....

VERSE 1
-------
                F               Bb                   F
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary,
                       F              Bb                           C   Csus   C
When troubles come and my heart burdened be,
                 Dm       Bb                      F           Bb
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
              F           C                    F
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

CHORUS
------
                   Dm       Bb                    F          C
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains,
                   Dm      Bb                      F
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas,
        Dm               Bb                  F             Bb
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders,
                     F         C                   F
You raise me up, To more than I can be.

I think it's by Josh Groben but it was famously covered by Westlife. Awesome worship song.

Faith is not what you do to move God - it's your response to what He already did by grace.
